The City’s Bookhive
Shaped like a miniature house, Jakarta Bookhive is a free library initiative that can be found in various parks around Jakarta. Initiated by Fahrid Hamka out of the desire to reignite people’s love of reading, Bookhive stores a variety of secondhand titles that operates on a straightforward book-sharing system of take a book, leave a book, which means readers can donate and pick up books during opening hours from 6 AM to 6 PM.
